On September 19 and 20, head to Place Bellecour for the Cycling and Walking Festival, organised as part of European Mobility Week.
By bike, on foot, by cargo bike or simply in a good pair of walking shoes: Lyon is changing, and so are our habits! The city is gradually transforming, and everyone is rediscovering the pleasure of getting around in a different way… without necessarily spending twenty minutes looking for somewhere to park! 😉
And of course, after a few miles on the bike or on foot, it’s time to recharge your batteries. Because in Lyon, we can be thoroughly modern when it comes to getting around while still being deeply attached to the pleasures of a good meal!
So, after crossing Bellecour, making your way up the Presqu’île or simply strolling through our streets, why not take a little detour to the Café des Fédérations? Since 1872, our restaurant has kept another Lyon tradition alive: gathering around a good mâchon, a pot lyonnais and a few of our much-loved local specialities.
